Who are we?
The Lay Coordinating team has asked a small group of people to coordinate communications to facilitate greater sharing of the charism. At the completion of the Aix 2025 congress, the delegate affirmed the need for communication.
The particular proposal from the congress is:
II.1. Create a Dedicated Global Communication Team and Networking Infrastructure
● Delegates recognize the need for a global, easily and equitably accessible communication network
to:
● Share experiences.
● Strengthen relationships.
● Disseminate formation and news.
● Coordinate initiatives and sharing across regions.
● Gather and publish short stories or testimonies of Oblate Laity mission around the world,
especially highlighting collaboration and innovation.● Create a communications team at the congregational level, with support from regional teams.
● Develop a multilingual digital hub for Oblate Laity worldwide (e.g., site or app).
● Where possible, establish opportunities for interregional meetings and forums for Oblate laity.
● Support translation of major resources where requested.
This website is one of the first steps, among many, to realise this proposal.
